We are looking for a Software Configuration Engineer to join our dynamic team and be a key player in the configuration of our software. We are looking for a dynamic and energetic person who craves to be constantly challenged, has a passion for development and works well in a team based environment.
Description of the Opportunity:
- Working with Client Management, Product Management, Development, and QA teams in Canada, the U.S. and the U.K. to implement solutions to meet client needs.
- Configuring the ResponseTek software solution as required for a client engagement.
- Ongoing support of clients by phone and e-mail, working closely with key client contacts and end users to provide outstanding service.
- Executes Configuration Change Requests from Client Managers for Existing Customers.
- Executes User Support/Management Requests.
- Monitors support@responsetek.com e-mail alias.
- Support of Business Analyst data & information requests.
- Development internal tools to support/automate administration, configuration, implementation and analysis of new/existing clients.
The Experience and Skills We Need
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a technical engineering or technical support role.
- Experience with Web Application Development with ASP, ASP.NET, VB, VB.NET, XML and SQL
- Knowledge of HTML, Flash, and other browser technologies.
- Experience with image editing software - Photoshop, ImageReady.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel Macros and pivot tables as well as Access a plus.
- Excellent written documentation abilities.
- Detail orientation and capacity to perform to deadlines and schedules.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
