Syed Hasan – CEO
As the CEO of ResponseTek, Syed is a proven leader with a wealth of experience in managing success. Prior to founding ResponseTek, Syed spent over 7 years as an international corporate strategy and e-commerce consultant. Syed headed the e-commerce strategy group for Cambridge Technology Partners in San Francisco, developing new business opportunities and has a proven track record of defining and implementing corporate strategy solutions for Fortune 500 companies. Prior to Cambridge, Syed established and led the development of the consulting arm of Reid Crowther, a large engineering company. Silicon Valley North Magazine selected Syed as the "Next CEO" in its March 2002 issue. In addition Syed received recognition by Business in Vancouver as one of the "Forty under Forty" in 2002 – an honour for a new generation of outstanding men and women who are making headlines in their fields and their communities.
Norman S. Wong – Chief Financial Officer
Norman's key responsibilities include managing the overall financial systems and internal controls of the company. As a chartered accountant, Norman has more than 15 years of finance and financial planning experience. Prior to joining ResponseTek, he held key financial responsibilities as director of business planning for Vancouver-based Mobile Data Solutions Inc. (MDSI). Norman has also served as CFO for several public and private companies and held various accounting and finance positions, as well as key operational roles, with Xilix Technology Corp. and InflaZyme Pharmaceuticals Ltd. Norman holds a bachelor of science from the University of British Columbia and a bachelor of commerce from the University of Calgary.
Richard Elliott – Vice President of Global Sales and Professional Services
Richard is responsible for leading the ResponseTek global sales and professional services teams. With over 20 years of high technology experience, Richard was most recently global vice president with Clarify CRM, a division of Amdocs. There, he rebuilt and re-focused the enterprise sales and consulting practices over three years. Previously, he held senior sales management roles with SAP, where he led teams in both North America and in Asia Pacific, starting up the SAP New Zealand subsidiary. Richard holds an honors bachelor of commerce degree from Laurentian University and a chartered accountant designation earned at Ernst & Young in Toronto.
